William Morrissette, Ph.D.

Executive Director

Dr. Morrissette has been the Executive Director since October, 2023. He has 25 years of experience in non-profit management and higher education. His extensive expertise in environmental philosophy has driven his commitment to advancing sustainable and ethical practices.

Arianna Mouradjian

Chief Operating Officer

Arianna joined the team as a technician in 2008. She is a former board member and the current Director of Operations. She holds a Level 2-X license.

Olivia Harrington

Community Engagement and

Programs Director 

Olivia joined the Wildlife Clinic of Rhode Island in 2018, beginning as a volunteer in animal care. She now serves as the Community Engagement and Programs Director, overseeing and supporting the volunteer programs and helping expand the Clinic’s outreach and education efforts. Olivia holds a Level 2 Rhode Island Wildlife Rehabilitator License. She especially enjoys engaging with volunteers and youth, and is passionate about connecting the community to the Wildlife Clinic’s mission, and inspiring others to support and advocate for Rhode Island’s wildlife.

Dr. Blaine Hymel

Medical Director 

Dr. Blaine Hymel first started as a volunteer in 2013 and quickly went on to become an at home rehabber, staff member, and later animal care coordinator. She received her doctorate from Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University and completed a rotating internship at Bulger Veterinary Hospital. She has spent time at several zoos and wildlife clinics in the area and looks forward to continuing to collaborate between clinics.

Dr. Seth Snow

Veterinarian

Dr. Seth Snow grew up in Rhode Island, where he attended the University of Rhode Island and earned a bachelor's degree in animal science. He graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and finished his clinical year at Louisiana State University. He has primarily worked in general practice, but has always had a special interest in wildlife medicine. When not at work, he enjoys hiking, skiing and traveling.

Kristin Fletcher

Former Executive Director /

Senior Trainer

Kristin was Executive Director from 1999 to 2023 and her leadership and commitment greatly contributed to what the organization is today. She holds a level 2-X license and is the lead rehabilitation trainer for the organization.

Caroline Keller

Animal Care Staff

Caroline started at the clinic in 2020 as a summer intern and was hired as staff in 2021 after graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science from Michigan State University. She holds a Level 2-X license. Raccoons are one of her favorite animals to work with.

Tami VanSteeden, PharmD

Animal Care Staff

Dr. Tami VanSteeden volunteered at the wildlife clinic for 8 years before accepting the Animal Care Staff position in 2022.  She holds a Level 2-X license and has been an Audubon osprey nest monitor since 2015. While she enjoys caring for all the wildlife, raccoons, osprey and box turtles are favorites.

Brieanna LaFleur

HR and Office Manager 

Brieanna joined the team as Office Manager in 2023 and has a Bachelor’s degree in Wildlife and Conservation biology from The University of Rhode Island. In the future she looks forward to pursuing her permits to become a licensed rehabber.

Sterling Parks 

Volunteer and Youth Education Specialist 

Sterling's career began in hospitality, attending Johnson & Wales University, majoring in Restaurant, Food & Beverage Management. Her passion for wildlife led her to volunteer as a Sub-Permittee starting in April 2023, eventually securing a staff position in the summer of 2024. Currently, she holds a Level 2 Apprentice license. She is eager to collaborate with like-minded individuals who share her dedication to protecting and aiding wildlife.

Charlene Gallo

Animal Care Staff

Charlene started as a volunteer winter of 2020 , she became a staff member summer of 2021. She holds a Level 2-X license and can rehab all species although she has a soft spot for opossums and squirrels.

Sandy Coletta

Board Chair

Sandy currently serves as Board Chair and has been a board member since 2017. A retired healthcare executive, she also serves on the boards of the Roger Williams Zoological Society and South County Health.

Board Member 

Zoo and wildlife veterinarian, educator, and author of National Geographic Kids Animal Encyclopedia. Founder of Creature Conserveconnecting artists and scientists to save species.

Elaine Hogan

Board Secretary

Elaine has been the Board Secretary since 2020. She has a background in IT project management. Volunteer activities include Soup for the Docks for the Galilee fishing community, team leader for the GFWC WCSC, and member of the Matunuck Community Association.

Peter Green

Board Member

Peter Green, graphic designer and wildlife photographer, joined the board in 2017. He designed our new logo and keeps us looking professional. See his work at providenceraptors.com and doubleagentdesign.com.

Cody Burnett

Board Treasurer

Cody joined the board in the fall of 2018 and currently serves as Treasurer. He is a Vice President of Wealth Management at UBS and an avid hiker and nature photographer.

Judy Ireland

Board Member

Judy is a retired landscape architect living in North Kingstown. She has always loved native animals, plants and has been associated with WRARI for over 10 years. Judy helps with fundraisers and brings the experience and wisdom of an octogenarian to our board! And, she recently became a wildlife rehabilitator!

Chris DiSano

Board Member

Chris is Vice President/Partner at RDW Group, Inc. a full service marketing communications agency. From November-March, he moonlights as radio color analyst for the Rhode Island Rams men’s basketball team. Chris joined the board in fall of 2022.

Jamie Hansen

Board Member

Jamie is a Partner at Kahn Litwin, Renza & Co., Ltd., specializing in nonprofit organizations. She joined the board in the spring of 2025. In addition to her role at the firm, she serves as the Board Treasurer for Animal Rescue Rhode Island. Jamie is also an active Finance Committee Member for both Amenity Aid and Sojourner House.
